No, this won’t take the bats to the moon but it will keep them happy. This project is for the adventurous types. The problem is with constructing a bat home out of timber it will eventually break down. Looking at PVC gives the longevity that I’m looking for. I mean, you take the trouble to build a home, so you want to see it last many, many years. The Bat Rocket is not that hard to build. A plain hand saw does most of the work with some shaping using an electric jig saw. For the metal brackets you may have to go to a metalwork shop and have them made.
